Nice to meet you here on our homepage. We like to tell you something about Bjulebo and show our holiday houses to you.

In 2002 we came to Bjulebo, it has been an old farm before but was not in use for many years. Originally the old Swedish owners had planed to built up a whole holiday village including more than 30 houses. We cancelled this projects and decided just to built some houses to keep the ambience of the surroundings. Today we are proud to offer 7 houses to you suitable for the best holidays you can have in Sweden!

You find Bjulebo on the Swedish east coast 50 km north of Oskarshamn and 20 km south of Västervik, exactly between Blankaholm and Västrum if you search on a map for it. This is the province of SMÅLAND, if you have listened to the stories of the famous Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren and enjoy her discriptions you will find everything you have ever heard of here at Bjulebo Gard. At BJULEBO GÅRD you´ll find exactly what you are searching for, peace in mind, a nearly untouched nature, an unbelivable playground for children, a perfect place for family vacations also anglers and friends of fishing find one of the best fishing areas for pikes and perches worlwide. Hiking in the old forrests or along the shore of the Swedens most famous skerries, cycling, fishing, bathing in the sea, in the sauna or in the original Swedish bathing barrel or discovering an "own Robinson-island" of more than 5000 islands will guarantee for perfect holidays and apotheosis recreations for the whole family.

BJULEBO…

on the Swedish east coast in the old province of SMÅLAND, 50 km north of Oskarsham und 20 km south of Västervik, is located direct next to the Baltic Sea in the archipelargo of Tjustkusten and Misterhults Skärgard. This archipelargo is one of the last untouched skerries in Sweden. Even if Bjulebo is easy to reach by car, plane or train nothing is disturbing the calmness. Our next neighbours live more than 2 km far away. For shopping you find a Swedish "Lanthandel" in Blankaholm or you can drive to Västervik, a nice and old Swedish summertown.

Bjulebo is the most ideal location for hikers, cyclist, mushrooms and berrries collector. Using our boats you can discover the skerries. For recreation we offer the original Swedish sauna barrel or bathing barrel.

Anglers will find the wellknown Swedisk pikes, sveds call them depending on the size often skerry-crocodiles, perches, eals, salmons, sea-trouts and a lot of other types of fish.

It´s also interesting to discover Smaland and the famous Swedish "Glasriket". Sighting to Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren´s World, to KOLMÅRDEN, the greatist zoo in the north, to Grönåsens Moosepark or to the island of Öland with the royal summer residence SOLIDEN…

In old times a small gauge railroad ended in Bjulebo. Today you can have a nice trip on this railroad through the heart of Smaland from Västervik to Vimmerby.

BJULEBO is a quite old, early settled area. Already in the Bronze Age humans settled on Bjulebo. Ancient graves and congregation places can be found today.
